Phyllis Ann Bechtelheimer was born on January 1, 1934 to Harold and Dorothy (Resch) Bechtelheimer in Fairview, Kansas. She graduated from high school in Falls City, Nebraska and pursued her education at Commercial Extension Business School. In 1951 she married Duane E. Tubach. To this union were born daughter, Diana Susan on February 19, 1955 and son, Douglas Stephen on December 18, 1957.
Phyllis was a “rock” in her faith to God, family and friends, always ready to do whatever she could to help others. For a number of years she worked for Hemco, Inc., utilizing her business background. She and her husband, Duane, fostered infants for the Child Saving Institute in Omaha. Phyllis was a caring mother, neighbor, and friend and will be missed deeply.
