Phyllis Glee Holton
January 27, 1935 – July 27, 2019
Born on January 27, 1935 to Everett Burton and Ora Rachel Cain of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Phyllis passed away on July 27th at Brookstone Village in Omaha. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Robert Eugene Holton; parents, Everett and Ora; brothers: Everett, Virgil, Myles, Glenn and Kenneth; sisters: Ada-Elizabeth, Arlyne, Norma and Shirley; sons-in-law, Bob Robinson and Raymond Whiteing; grandson, Brent Robinson; great-grandson, Rowdy Robinson. She is survived by her daughters: Barbara Robinson, Kathryn Whiteing, and Natalie Clark; grandchildren: Bethany Yoch (Mike), Robert Robinson (Nora), Ryan Robinson (Meghann), Mathew Robinson (Nicole), Kristina Boverhuis (Ryan), Mindy Johnson (Jay), Jason Whiteing (Heaven), Aaron Clark (Morgan); nine great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Crowder (Gene); brother, Lyle Cain (Judie); many nieces and nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Phyllis attended Thomas Jefferson High School and retired from Campbell Soup in Omaha in 1995. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds, traveling, and collecting things: rocks, cream/sugar bowls, plates, Precious Moments, and birds. She babysat many of her nieces and nephews and was known to them as Aunt Pid.
SERVICES: Thursday, August 1st at 6pm, West Center Chapel, followed by fellowship with the family. Memorials will be directed by the family.
