Preceded in death by parents, Michael and Elizabeth Tynan; brother, David Tynan; grandson, Michael Knowles. Survived by children: Dr. Nancy Knowles (Dr. Tony Keber), Jim Knowles, Jr. (Rjean), Bob Knowles (Maria), and Karen Knowles; grandchildren: Tony Keber, Jr., Matt Knowles (Alicia), Stacey Patterson (Roy), Ben Knowles (Kate), Christina, Bobby and Elaina Knowles, Kristen Hurd (Joe), Joel Kersch, Allison Mclendon (Chris), Conner Kersch; eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rosalie Tynan; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 27th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd., followed by WAKE SERVICE at 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday, Oct. 28th at 10:30am at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 16701 “S” St. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church.

My aunt Prudy was “one of a kind.” A “true original.” There will never be another quite like her! Her zest for life, incredible sense of humor and warmth were infectious. My sisters and I adored her, as did my parents. I am sure heaven is a far livelier place with her arrival.
Nancy we got the news from Jan of your mother’s death. Sorry to hear that but sometimes “death is a gift.” Take consolation in knowing you always looked out for her so diligently – – – there will be stars in your crown. Now be good to your husband and yourself. God Bless!
