Salucci, Ralph COL US Army (Ret.) Jul 29, 1926 – Dec 21, 2013 He served during WWII in Europe, Korea, and 2 tours in Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Legion of Merit, Airman’s Medal, 5th Award; Purple Heart; and numerous other awards, including Combat Infantry Badge, 3 awards; Glider Badge and Master Parachutist Badge. Survived by his wife, Rita (Drefs); sister-in-law, Mary Peterson and husband Stan; nieces and nephews. Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, National Association for Uniformed Services, and Military Association of America. VISITATION: Sunday, December 29 from 2-4pm at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, with Full Military Honors by US Army Honor Guard at 4pm. Memorials to Nebraska Humane Society.

I served with Col. Salucci when he was with the 1Bde 25 Infantry Diviison . He was an outstanding leader who inspired those who were lucky to have served with him.
