So many memories of Mr Jacobo. So much gratitude for the ever present acceptance he and Ms Jacobo provided for their children’s friends. Yes, a long time ago, but still present feelings.

Don Ramon Jacobo, was a Giant in the grocery/bakery business in Nebraska. Don Ramon was also a pioneer for all Mexican and American people , establishing one of the 1st grocery markets supplying fresh Mexican food traditional to the culture. His devotion to his family…to his employees and a work ethic that puts all of us to shame, is a Hallmark of this great Hombre..

While I mostly worked with his son Carlos, Ramon was always there close by keeping an eye on things and putting in his two cents worth. He really represents the best of what a neighborhood grocer could be in the South Omaha community. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

So very sad, and sorry of your loss. We can all learn from him for how to live our lives. I am glad I got to know him while working there in the store. I mainly dealt with Carlos, or Martha to help get the store running electrical. Maybe you remember me. It has been many years. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
