Raymond G. Stevens
February 25, 1941 – March 8, 2025
Raymond Stevens died at the age of 84 years. He was the greatest brother, friend and mentor to me and my four children. All that time, taking care of our mom until her death at 79 years. He helped me when I became a widow at age 28, with four children to raise, ages 7, 5 2, and 8 months.
He graduated from South High School in 1959. He worked at our father’s Sporting Goods and Cigar Store until he finished high school and then went on to work for Data Documents Printing. He worked there for 40 years.
I love him dearly and will miss him, but we will meet again in heaven.
He is survived by sister, Evelyn O’ Brien; niece, Colleen Johnson (Chuck); nephew, Brian P. O’Brien; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Other surviving relatives include his nephews and pallbearers: Jeffrey L. O’Brien, Jr., Christopher Harrell, Kevin Blake, Jr., Joshua Blake, Jeremiah Blake, and Benjamin Blake; nieces: Jeanette Pinker, Stephanie (Jeff) Lopez, Debbie (Tom) Kozusko, and Judy Murphy of O’Neill, NE; great-nieces: Khloe Blake, Cora Blake, Kayleigh Blake, Jasmine Harrell, and Brianna Johnson; great-nephews: Kyler, Enzo, Geo, Leo, Teddy, Lucas and Jacob Blake, Jeremiah Harrell, and Sean Johnson.
