Our prayers are said for you enjoying Heaven as you were a dedicated priest. In a thankful remembrance I’m having masses said in your name.

Our sympathies to Fr. Schwatz’ family. He was a sweet man. I cleaned and cooked for him at the Elgin rectory back in the mid 70’s. He drove a friend and I to Omaha to attend a concert. Our parents wouldn’t take us. Great memories!!

Eternal rest grant unto Fr. Schwartz oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him! You were such an influence in my life and I’m sure for countless others.

May he rest in peace. Condolences to his family. Fr. Schwartz officiated at our wedding in Blair 25 years ago. We would always send him a Christmas card of our family detailing our lives. He was such a kind man. He rang extra wedding bells for me that day. He will be missed. I’m so sorry for your loss. 🙏🏻
