My condolences for the loss of Rex Sr. He was a great boss and I could tell an even better husband and father..

Our sympathy and prayers to Delores and family. Rex was a wonderful friend in my youth. I went to elementary, junior high, high school and Iowa State with him. After growing up, my only communication with Rex was at the East Des Moines High School class reunions. He brought his gracious wife, Delores, to the reunions and so my husband had a nice person to talk to while ‘the rest of us reminisced’.

At one of our last reunions, I asked Rex, “Do you remember me?” He said yes, “You’re Elizabeth Antonette Raspotnik.” I laughed because I was so surprised that he knew my ‘whole’ maiden name.

A contribution to St. Jude’s will be made in memory of Rex, ‘my long-time-ago classmate’.
