STASTNY, Rex R., Sr. Dec 19, 1932 Jul 3, 2014 Rex was born in Milligan, NE, and lived most of his life in Omaha, surrounded by his large family and many friends. Generous, witty, curious, and wise, he made an impact on everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Irene. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna; children: Mary Oellerich, Rex Stastny, Jr. (Linda), Mark Stastny (JoAnn), Steve Stastny, Cathy Stastny, Roxanne Vance, Dan Stastny, Ed Stastny (Corinne), Jen Stastny (Liam Chleborad), Laura Stastny (Todd Veldman), and Caitlin Stastny; brothers, Dean Stastny (Betty) and Darrell Stastny (Betty); seventeen grandchildren and a wealth of great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, July 7th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Tuesday, July 8th at 10am at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Wildlife Rehab, Inc.
