SHERMAN, Richard A., Sep 2, 1934 Nov 29, 2009. God called him home at 1:40 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 29, while he was under Hospice Care of St. Augustine, FL. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret; children: Lisa and Charles Billman, of Omaha, Laura and Stan Kapustka, of Omaha, Lynn and Clifton Reichle, of St. Augustine, Scott Sherman, of Bennington, NE; 9 grandchildren: Albert, Lindsey, Nathan, Sarah, Connor, Taylor, Max, Tyler, Chris and special friend, Mr. D; sister Marilyn Scholl; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and business associates. Private family committal with Military Honors. He graduated Class of 52 Benson High School, attended UNO, Veteran of U.S. Army, started Sherman Plumbing Service in 1964, retired in 2000 and passed the business to his son. He gave his time freely to his church, Life Care of Omaha, his family, his dog, Rosita and anyone that was fortunate enough to know him.
