Richard E. Ulfers
April 7, 1942 – September 28, 2022
Richard was born on April 7, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Linda D. (Bazata) Ulfers,; sister, Jan Taylor; parents, Ada Ulfers and Harold Ulfers.
Richard was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war serving on the USS Pritchett. Upon return, Richard attended college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha receiving a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. He married Linda on July 27, 1968, in Schuyler, NE.
Richard enjoyed boating, fishing, motorcycles, cars, and gadgets. Many family outings were enjoyed at Richard and Linda’s cabin on the Missouri River.
VISITATION: Tuesday, October 4th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. GRAVESIDE SERVICE with Military Rites: Wednesday, October 5th at 2pm at Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Doberman Rescue of Omaha.

Dick and Linda were our neighbors for 40 and more years. The guys like getting together talking fast cars and their gun stories. They were great neighbors and friends.
We will miss them both.
