We were completely shocked. We hold you in our prayers Janet at this very difficult time. We love you and are praying for you.
DICK HYDE was our sister Janet’s husband for 50 plus years and we grew to love him as a brother. He was a very quiet person, a good listener and a great friend. He was always willing to share with his family his wisdom about many things. But most of all he shared his deep faith with us and many others. Even in his death he continues to inspire us through books and tapes handed down to us by his wife Janet so we can continue to grow in our faith. As Deacon John put it so well as he prayed with DICK and blessed him several weeks ago, Dick was one of the smartest men we knew. He had studied many faiths yet came back to the Catholic faith. We will always look up to DICK and appreciate all he gave us and his family.
I wish to extend my deepest sympathy on the loss of Dick, and my prayers and support are with you.
To Janet & family. We know Dick’s journey has come to an end. Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Please know we are here for all of you.
Receive his soul & present him to God most high. Dick came to Lincoln & visited Jim when he was recovering from his stroke 8 years ago & touched our hearts sharing his time, faith & prayer with Jim. Sending our deepest condolences to Janet & family & we will continue to lift you up in prayer in the days & months ahead.
Dick was such a kind, gentle, smart man. I had the pleasure of getting to know Dick through Christians Encounter Christ (CEC). Dick studied several religions before choosing to becoming a Catholic. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his sweet wife Janet and his entire family.
So sorry to hear you lost Dick. He and Roger worked together a long time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
