Richard Patrick McMahon
May 15, 1954 – August 27, 2024
Dick was preceded in death by his son, Ian; parents, Bill and Ruth McMahon; brother, Jim. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie; daughters, Monica and Erin (Kyle Stoner) all of Omaha; sons, Joshua (Sarah) of Lakewood, CO. and Dylan (Maura) Minneapolis, MN; granddaughters: Taylor (Alex) Hull, Brynn Ullerich, Darby and Zoe McMahon, Greta McMahon; great-granddaughter, Audrey Hull. He will be missed by his siblings: Judy Jacobsen, Mike McMahon and Carole McMahon-Boies; cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dick was a devout member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for 42 years and found great solace in his faith., He loved to golf and spent countless hours perfecting his swing on local courses and during many golf trips with his friends. He thoroughly enjoyed his 37 years as a member in the “Czech Club,” making friends that he kept all of these years.
Dick was nothing if not dedicated. He worked at The Waldinger Corporation for 40 plus years, starting as a truck driver and finishing his career as the manager of the Sheet Metal Department in Omaha. He was also a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 3.
The McMahon family wishes to thank Edgewood Memory Care Home and Suncrest Hospice team for caring for Dick.

VISITATION: Friday, September 6, 2024, from 4pm to 6pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, September 7th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2110 S. 32nd Avenue. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials will be directed by the family.

So sorry for your loss Bonnie and family, I worked with Dick for many years at Waldinger, and also as am 40 plus year member of LU# 3. God Bless you all.
