Rick Brisbois

Rick “Ricky” Robert Brisbois, age 56, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at his home in Missouri Valley. Ricky was born in Lake City, Iowa on December 18, 1955 to Henry and Bernice (Clark) Brisbois. He was baptized in the Christian faith at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, in Lake City, Iowa. He became a member and was confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley, Iowa. He attended Lake City public schools until the family moved to Missouri Valley, Iowa in 1968. He graduated from Missouri Valley High School and worked in the family business as a mechanic until it closed in 2001. Ricky also worked at Carry-On Trailer until he was called to his eternal home in Heaven. Ricky enjoyed aircrafts and aerospace. Ricky was preceded in death by his sister; Marsha Kay Brisbois, and his parents, Henry and Bernice Brisbois. Survivors include his sister; Judy Osweiler and husband Rodney of Omaha, Nebraska, brothers; Gary Brisbois and wife Kathy of Honey Creek, Iowa; Terry Brisbois of Pocahontas, Iowa, Tim Brisbois and wife Ruth of Beatrice, Nebraska, four nieces and four nephews. Visitation will be open Friday, at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Church following the committal service at the cemetery. Memorials may be given to First Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
