Robert A. Koozer, III

Robert A. Koozer,  III

October 10, 1968 – November 30, 2018

On October 10, 1968 Robert Aldon Koozer, III “Scooter” was born at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln NE.  A call came from the family attorney (and surrogate stork) letting Bob and Kay know that he had been born and was ready for his adoptive family.  He was picked up the following Monday morning and taken home to Seward, Nebraska where he lived until moving to Omaha in 1980.  Robert was a 1987 graduate of Westside High School.  He then attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as well as MCC and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Most recently, he was employed by EMS working in outsourced technical customer service.

Robert is survived by parents, Bob and Kay of Yutan, NE, sisters, Robyn of Lincoln and Molly (Mark) of Yutan; nephews and nieces: Mark (Amy), Julie (Chris), Keith (Mary), Emma, and Ellie; seven grandnieces and grandnephews.  Other survivors include Aunt Betty Wiles of Omaha; Uncle Robin Koozer (Ann) of Hastings; cousins; and a priceless army of tireless and extremely devoted friends.

SERVICES: Wednesday, Dec. 5th at 11am at the West Center Chapel.  Memorials are suggested to the Children’s Respite Care Center.

He was a great friend, larger than life. The hole he leaves behind in the hearts of those who loved him can never be filled.
Rest in the arms of heaven my friend until we meet once again.

I also worked with Robert but only for less then a year at EMS. He in my opinion was far too intelligent to work there but he brought a certain witty sense of humor to the environment and he was also a great man. I will miss you brother, be at peace on your continuing journey.
