Robert “Bob” Gibson
November 9, 1935 – October 2, 2020
Preceded in death by parents, Pack and Victoria (Brown) Gibson; daughter, Annette Gibson; grandson, Tyson; four brothers. Survived by wife, Wendy; sons, Christopher (Ellie) and Ray; sisters, Barbara Stevens and Beulah Craig.
“At this time, per Bob’s wishes we are celebrating his life with immediate family only. We look forward to celebrating his exceptional life with all his friends in the near future—details to be announced later.”

To the family of Bob Gibson. My sincerest condolences on your loss of Robert Gibson. He was a hero to me and my personal idol. Meeting him in October 2015 showed me his huge heart. There was so much more to Bob Gibson that baseball. Thank you Robert Gibson, a man of humility and integrity.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Gibson family. I met him several years ago when I lived in Omaha, when he had the restaurant/ tavern Gibson’s, by CREIGHTON, my father also had a bar nearby. He was such a great man…he will be missed by all who knew him . RIP Bob… GODSPEED…
