Robert Ellis Clark

Born in Peru, Nebraska; died in Sarasota, Florida, having relocated in 2013 after residing in Omaha for more than 60 years.  Attended Gretna High School and graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1948 with a degree in Business Administration.  Served in the Pacific Theater during World War II in the 13th Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945.  A 30-year veteran of Peter Kiewit Sons’ Inc., Bob retired in 1981 as Corporate Secretary and Stock Registrar. Bob was an ardent supporter of the University of Nebraska, and a long-time football and basketball season ticket-holder.

Preceded in death on Jan. 28, 2015 by his wife of 68 years, Betty Jean (Barnett) Clark. Survived by his son, Robert M. Clark (Bonnie) of Timnath, CO, and daughter, Stephanie Ross (Richard) of Sarasota, FL.

MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, March 25th at 1pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 925 So. 84th St. in Omaha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to University of Nebraska Foundation, 1010 Lincoln Mall, Lincoln, NE 68508; or to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
