Swanda, Robert G., Sr., Feb 3, 1924 – May 23, 2009, of Omaha, NE. Survived by beloved wife of 62 years, Marjorie E. Swanda; daughters and sons-in-law: Janelle Davis, Geraldine and Michael O’Brien, Cynthia and Dan Kuiper, Nancy and Dan Pridal; sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and Kathleen Swanda Jr., Thomas and Lynn Swanda; 9 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sister, Barbara Streich and husband Kenneth; sister-in-law, Barbara Swanda. SERVICES Wednesday, 10:30am, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 1725 So. 60 St. Interment, Hillcrest with military honors by Papillion American Legion Post 32. VISITATION from 3pm Tuesday, with family receiving friends 5pm-7pm at the West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
