Margie, Michele and Meghan – we want to send our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your father and grandfather. He definitely lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it. We are so glad we were able to see him when he was at Bergan and he was excited about the football season starting. We will definitely miss Go Big Red Bob!

My sincerest sympathy to Bibby and Margie on the loss of your Dad. He was a great man and in all aspectts of life! I can still recall him coming the front door of the house on 14th street and whistling for Bobby to come in for the night. An excellent role model for all to see. May God Bless.

      Dale

Thanks for the well wishes. My sister and I lives were blessed with a great father, caregiver and role model. He loved his family deeply, sharing a majority of his time celebrating life with us, teaching us to be honest, trustworthy, respectful, courageous, educated and responsible. He made us secure about ourselves and offered many opportunities to experience a great life, including the rich childhood on 14th street. I was digging through memorabilia last Tues and found a paragraph in my grade school paper where I stated “I am starting my day with next door neighbor Dale, eating an orange and watching Captain Kangaroo before school”.

Dad served our country as a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and Omaha Fire Captain. and was honored so beautiful at the funeral yesterday.

Thanks for reaching out Dale, your thoughts of my Dad mean a lot to my sister and I.

Dear Margie, Bob and family, Your dad was a great friend to my folks and to me, we know that there will be a hole in your world by Bob not being there for you any more. You all are in our prayers, Tim and Kris (Bella Vista, AR.)

Thank You Tim and Kris for your condolence.

Tim – My father talked about his pride for you rising to captain on the force, your mom and dad having fun dining, laughing, in Omaha or on a beach vacation with Mom, Dad, Jack and Dorothy Williams. I had several slide photos of them together, shown during his vigil services, laughing and having a good time. The services were held Thurs. and yesterday and were well attended, including (3) firefighters from Engine 34, who posted color guard and parked a rig in front of the mortuary. Dad will be missed, but our memories of him will be treasured forever.

If you like a copy of your mom and dad photos emailed to you, please email request to me. BMichelic@gmail.com

      God Bless.

      Bob Michelic, Karen Stacey (Spouse)

      Margie Smith (Daughter)
