Robert L. McNealy

August 3, 1937 – November 15, 2021

Bob McNealy passed away peacefully at home among his loving family.  He was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bernice “Jessie” McNealy; brothers, Rich and Chuck McNealy; and sister-in-law, Roseann McNealy.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sarah (nee Ryan); brother, Bill McNealy (Gloria) of El Paso, Texas; sister, Wanda Smith (Bruce) of Omaha; sister-in-law, Mary McNealy; children, Robert B. McNealy and Sarah Ann Odell; grandchildren: Starr Gray (Brett), Sean Haupt, Amber Hamilton (Dan), Cheyenne Jones; great-grandchildren: Sadie Gray, Stella, Archer, and Olive Hamilton, and Marley Jones; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He will be sorely missed.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 2nd from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel.  FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, December 3rd at 11am at West Center Chapel.  Interment: Omaha National Cemetery at 1pm with Military Honors.

    Heart felt condolences to Dear Sister-in Law Sara McNealy and Family, Brother-in Law Bob will be sorely missed. Even though my heart aches for the loss of Bob, sweet memories of the many happy years of Bob with his brother’s and sister give much comfort.     Deepest condolences to Sarah, and to Robert and Sarah for the loss of Bob. I remember the few times we got together for lunch or dinner, and wish we had done so more often. My thoughts are with you.
