My heart is breaking, Hoby was such a great man and I loved working with him at BCBSNE, I worked with him for over 30 years–he was always smiling and loved by everyone! He will be greatly missed by his Blues family! Prayers and condolences to his mom, Dode, and his entire family!

Dode, I am so so sorry to hear about Hoby. I only have great, funny, and annoying memories of our days at the Blues! He was always fun to see in the halls. My heart hurts for you and the family. Please know I’m praying God’s comfort for you all. Colleen

To the Hammond family. Joe & I worked with Hoby at BCBSNE many years ago. Hoby played softball on the BCBS Friday night league with us and if the games were played in South O, the party was usually at our house and our kids (Shawn and Tony) both remember Hoby as always played and talked to them. We would like you to know that our prayers are with you and your family.
Our condolences. Joe, and Cindy Grasso and family.

To Dode, Kevin and the rest of the Hammond family – we are deeply saddened by the loss of Hoby. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. As part of the Van Horn family, we all grew up together and had such fun childhood times and memories. Hoby was a wonderful neighbor, friend, brother, and especially loving and caring son. He was just great man. Our hearts break for our dearest friend Dode. No one should have to go through this much pain and sadness. You are our family, you have been there for us, and we will always be there for you. Our sincerest condolences and sympathy.
Love you, Deb, Jim and on behalf of the Van Horn family
