A good man whom I’ve learned a lot from. May he rest in peace and my condolences to his family.

It’s been quite a few years since I worked with Bob at ConAgra Foods in Irvine, California. I remember him best for his stories about befriending a family of mocking birds for several generations, so that they would come and land on him when he whistled; and also for his walking a friendly fox to his school one day as a kid, only to have school officials react with horror and call the police, because it was rabid! Bob was a good friend, and I very much enjoyed his company.

Bob was a dear friend and car pool partner during the time we worked together in Irvine. On one of our business trips to Tennessee Bob got two tickets to a basketball game at the University of Tennessee! We got to see the Lady Vols play the Georgia Bulldogs, coached by the infamous Pat Summitt. It was truly a grand experience that I will never forget. Thank you my friend Bob. – Jody Hamabata
