Robert W. Kroeger, Jr. was born in Omaha, NE, in 1950 to parents Bob Kroeger Sr. and Anne Kroeger and was the oldest of their five wonderful children. He has three brothers: John, Mike, and Ken; and one sister, Brenda. After completing high school, Rob enlisted in the Navy and served for several years as an Internal Communications Electrician. After returning, he began working for his father as a carpenter at his construction company.
He married the beautiful Sharon Kroeger in 1974. They had two children, Joseph Kroeger and Erin Kroeger (Wrage), and he was a wonderful father to them. He even coached their soccer, softball, baseball, and basketball teams. At age 40, Rob left construction and became a police officer for the Omaha Police Department, where he remained through retirement.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Anne. He is survived by his ex-wife and good friend Sharon; children, Joseph and Erin; daughter-in-law Dominique; son-in-law Warren; grandchildren: Nathan, Jake, Kylie W., Marlie, Zoey, Tai, and Kylie C.; and great-grandchild, Braxton.
Rob loved his family and friends. He loved watching sports and movies, listening to music, riding his motorcycle, eating sweets, and driving (and talking about) his truck. He enjoyed sitting on his porch on nice days.
Rob was taken too early and will be forever missed.
