Roger had such a love and gift for music. He was an amazing voice teacher, and I was so blessed to have had the honor of knowing and working with him. His wit, humor, and ability to draw the best out those fortunate enough to become his musical legacy is forever imprinted in my heart and memory. May God keep and comfort you Loree and and family, in this most difficult time. My prayers are with you.

The Goodrich family wishes to express our condolences following the passing of Roger. My father Don had so many wonderful things to say about their time with Hastings choral music making. Praying that God will give you strength, uplift your spirits and carry you through this time of sadness. May your precious memories give you comfort. Love Peace, and Blessings, Susan Goodrich.

To Roger’s family: So sorry to hear of his passing. He took over the Thomas Jefferson High School Glee & Choir in Council Bluffs, Iowa in the 1968-69 school year. He was filling some very big shoes left by our previous director (Karen Capel). I was a senior that year. He was always very nice and faced the challenges of that job with courage and kindness. A job well done. Be proud.

Loree and family, So sorry to hear of your loss. You and Roger put many years in at Fort Robinson State Park’s Post Playhouse, to which we are all eternally thankful.

Loree and family I am so sorry to hear of Roger’s passing. I feel blessed to have had him as an instructor in college and to have sung in the chuch choir with him after my return to Chadron many years ago. He was an important person to me. Love and prayers to you all.
