Ronald C. Madison

  Ronald C. Madison

 Jan. 25, 1966 – April 16, 2025

Ron was born on January 25, 1966, to Charles and Ruth Madison in Omaha. He was the first boy to join his older sisters, Beverly and Linda. Later, he became a big brother to Diane and Steve. He took great joy in teasing his siblings! Ron grew up in the Prairie Lane neighborhood, where he had a great childhood with lots of neighborhood friends. Ron attended Prairie Lane Elementary, Valley View Jr. High, and Westside High School (class of ‘84).

Ron earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1989 and another from Bellevue University in 2008. Ron worked at First Data for many years before moving to WebEquity Solutions in 2012. WebEquity was later acquired by Moody’s Analytics, where he worked at the time of his passing.

Ron married Kelly Skinner on May 1, 1993, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Ron and Kelly were married just shy of 32 years. In typical Ron fashion, he would joke with Kelly that if he had committed a crime, he would have been out on good behavior a long time ago!

Ron was thrilled to become a dad to Nicholas Terrence in October 1998. Braden Charles joined the party in April 2002, and Sarah Greer crashed the party in June 2003. Ron loved being a dad and was involved in all their activities. Ron was thrilled to watch his children grow into exceptional young adults and was proud of them and all their accomplishments. Ron was a diehard Husker fan who enjoyed talking all things Huskers over Scooter’s coffee with Sarah. He talked about cars with Braden and loved to talk about history with Nick. He enjoyed discussing family genealogy with his dad.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kelly; children: Nick, Braden, and Sarah. He is also survived by his parents, Charles and Ruth Madison; siblings: Beverly (Rob) Koch, Linda Madison, Diane (Mike) Miller, and Steve (Alayna) Madison; mother-in-law, Shirley Skinner; sister-in-law, Colleen (Ron) Peitzmeier; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and their families. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jim Skinner; brother-in-law, Terry Skinner.

VISITATION: Tuesday, April 22, 2025, 5:00-7:00 pm at West Center Chapel.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL:  Wednesday, April 23, 10:00 am, St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 “Q” St., Ralston, Nebraska.

Ron was the kindest man I have ever met, such as pleasure to work with at Moody’s. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
