Retired 37-year Omaha Fire Captain/Paramedic.  Preceded in death by father, Stanley D. Wiley.  Survived by wife, Karen K. Wiley; children: Ron, Jr. (Rita), Amy Klenda (Shawn), Dan, Patrick, and Justin (Jenna); nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; mother, Pearl V. Wiley; brother, Larry (Judi); sister, Linda Rodelander (John).

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 28th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Thursday, March 1st at 10:30am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 15353 Pacific.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post #1.  Memorials will be directed by the family.

    Had Amy and Ron in class at Cathedral. Met Mr. Wiley several times. Great guy. Gentle Ben. So were his kids. Thank you for your service to the community. Say hi to my brother Pud. Respectfully-Coach Kupfer

    So very sad to hear of Ron’s passing. He had been on my mind last week and I just knew things were not good. Our hearts are with you Karen and all of the family. Ron was a wonderful person and his love of dogs just beautiful. He will be greatly missed
