Marybelle and family: My deepest sympathies. So sorry to hear about Ron’s passing. He was such a nice man and so funny. I am Gordon Johnson’s daughter and Doug Johnson’s sister. He sends his condolences to your family and fond, fond memories of Ron. Doug is currently sailing from St.Croix to Chesapeake Bay. I know he would have been in touch with Ron and would’ve loved to hear about Doug sailing from France, alone, all the way back to the states! They were good friends and Ron will be missed by so many.
