In my mind, Rose had never changed a bit since the first day I met her on the Creighton campus 23 years ago. She had always been strong, healthy, caring, supportive, and happy. We are so lucky to have her as our dear friend. She had guided us with wisdom of ‘Waking up to who you are requires letting go of who you imagine yourself to be”(Alan Watts). She told me that she was a Chinese History major in college. She surely demonstrated to us the Daoist wisdom that ‘Life is not a problem to be solved, but an experience to be had’ (Alan Watts).
We miss you dearly, Rose! You will always be with us, and we will always be with you. While you are in heaven now, with the help of AI and our love, we could still practice the wisdom of happiness and letting go, together and joyfully.
    Love,
    Jinmei.
