Roselie F. Callahan
February 28, 1943 – September 24, 2023
Roselie “Lee” Callahan was born to Ed and Elzene Moeller, along with her twin sister, Roselyn “Lyn”, in Stuart, Nebraska, on February 28, 1943.
Lee and her twin sister attended St. Joseph Grade School and High School and graduated in 1961.
Lee and Lyn attended Business School in Omaha, NE. Lee worked for Grain Dealers Insurance Company and later with Berkshire Hathaway, for a total of 40 years. Lee retired in 2008. Lee met the Love of her Life, her future husband, Bob Callahan, a “Navy Man,” while working at the same company. They were married in 1970. They had a son, Jason.
Her husband Bob, a “People-Person,” preceded her in death in 2000.
Lee passed away on September 24, 2023, from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Lee is survived by her son, Jason (Kerry) Callahan; beautiful granddaughter, Emily; grandsons, Drew Callahan and Gavin (Taylor) Flores; siblings: Lynn Obermire, Connie Reinke (Dale), Jeanette Leuthold, Shirley Cobb (Jim); nieces and nephews; family friends and coworkers. She loved all of them!
Lee will be truly missed.
VISITATION: Sunday, October 1, 2023, 5-7 p.m., West Center Chapel, followed by a VIGIL SERVICE: at 7 p.m. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, October 2, 2023, 10 a.m., St Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 Q St. INTERMENT: Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the NICU at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. So sorry for your loss We are cousins and Lee was a year behind me in high school we had lots of good times together especially ice skating
Sending my deepest sympathy to Lyn…I went to high school and business school with the twins and have a lot of fun memories of them.

I worked with Lee at Grain Dealers for many years.
She was such a graciious person.
Jason and our son, Sean were born at the same time so we had a lot in common. We moved to Indianapolis but still stayed in contact.
