Rosemary Anne Stevens

Rosemary Anne Stevens, age 66, of Missouri Valley, Iowa went to heaven on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born February 8, 1947 to Thelma (White) and Leonard Block. Rosemary was always very active in her community. She was a Sunday school teacher for twelve years and carried a local preacher’s license for seven years. In addition, Rosemary was also a Cub Scout den mother and a Pathfinder leader. Rosemary is preceded in death by: parents, sisters; Evelyn Mace and Ellie Pleas, brother: Robert Block. Survivors include her children: Tammera Gruber (John) of Missouri valley, Iowa: Thelma Smith (Spencer) of Missouri Valley, Iowa: Dan Weaver (Rhonda) of Arlington, Tennessee; and Doug Nellor of Omaha, Nebraska; brother: Gene Bock of Omaha, Nebraska: nine grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday August 13, 2013 at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at 2752 335th St. Missouri Valley following the committal.
