CANIGLIA-Ross J., age 75 years, Mason City, IA, formerly of Omaha; died Tuesday (February 20, 2007) at Muse-Norris Hospice in-patient unit, Mason City, Iowa following a lengthy battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was preceded in death by his parents, a beloved aunt, Fina Carnazzo, uncle, Judge Samuel P. Caniglia. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Caniglia, Mason City; a son, Scot (Mary) Caniglia, Omaha, NE; a daughter, Deborah Caniglia, London, UK; two granddaughters, Taylor and Spencer Caniglia, Omaha; a sister, Jean (Dr. Paul) McCullough, Bremerton, WA; a brother, William Caniglia, Albuquerque, NM; two brothers in-law, Dr. William Reefe, Roanoke, VA; John J. (Sharon) Reefe, Omaha; a sister in-law, Joan (Tom) Heafey, Omaha; nieces and nephews. Memorials to the Ross J. Caniglia Memorial Fund. Vigil Service Thursday, 6:30 p.m., Hogan-Bremer-Moore Funeral Home in Mason City. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:30 a.m., Holy Family Catholic Church, Mason City. Visitation Saturday, 12:00 noon, West Center Chapel, Omaha, followed by a prayer service at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Hugh Schwartz officiating. Interment, Family Estate-Calvary Cemetery, with full military honors by Benson VFW Post # 2705, Omaha.
