Ruby Amy Lara
November 19, 1967 – March 10, 2024
Ruby A. Lara, age 56, was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo G. Mesa and Consuelo (DeLuna) Mesa; and sister, Emily Castillo. She is survived by her husband, Alejandro Lara; and children, Gabriela Miles, Alejandro Lara Jr., Omar Lara, and Israel Lara; two grandchildren, Katalaya A. Miles and one on the way; siblings, Alvino Mesa Sr., Domingo Mesa Jr., Ricky Mesa, Gloria Hernandez, Dora Mesa, and Margarita Mesa; and many nieces and nephews.
VIGIL: Friday, March 22nd, 8 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 4930 S. 23rd St.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, March 23rd, 8 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Interment, St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery.

Thoughts and prayers are with all of Ruby’s family. She was a treasure. We are all going to miss her so very much. She had such an amazing fighting spirit.

Sending prayer for Ruby’s family. Ruby was a great inspiration to all of us at the office. She handled her illness with such grace and courage while also keeping her witty sense of humor. We will all miss her dearly.
My deepest sympathy for Ruby’s family. Ruby such as her name, precious! We were childhood friends. I love her smile laughter..we laughed so much..I could truly be myself with her, such a beautiful human being. She will forever be in my heart. I will miss her dearly!!
