RUZICKA, Rudolph L., Jun 23, 1921 – Nov 23, 2011. Age 90 years, of Schuyler, NE. Rudolph was born in rural Rogers, NE, to Joseph and Annie (Blazek) Ruzicka. He attended school at District 49, rural Rogers. He farmed the original homestead and in the Rogers area until moving to Schuyler and retiring from farming in 1999. He enjoyed working outdoors, bohemian music, dancing, and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Libbie E. Blazek and Anna M. Horak; brothers, Joseph E. and Adolph F.; niece, LaVaine (Ruzicka) Collins; nephews, Bob Ruzicka and Donald Ruzicka. He is survived by his special friend, LaVina Falke of Schuyler; nieces: Marilyn (Ruzicka) Lusche of Columbus, NE, Donna (Horak) Meredith of Wichita, KS, Linda (Horak) Varejcka of Hickman, NE; nephews: Frank Blazek of Schuyler and Douglas Ruzicka of Fairbury, NE. Immediate cremation with interment at Bohemian National Cemetery in Howells, NE, at a later date. Memorials to a charity of your choice may be sent to the family at 903 Gold Street, Schuyler, NE 68661.
