Preceded in death by son, Marc Alan Mathews. Survived by wife, Mercedes “Merci” H. Mathews; children: Julia R. Wright (Michael), Kevin L. Mathews (Lisa), and Karen L. Parker; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Humphries.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Saturday, June 1st at 2pm at the West Center Chapel. Memorials to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Merci, I am so sorry to hear the news of Russ’ passing. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the two of you for many years while I was at Deloitte. You are both such wonderful people and I am hoping you are finding comport and peace. I will keep you and the rest of the family in my prayers. Cindy
Aunt Merci, you have our sincere condolences from us and the kids. Uncle Russ was a kind man with a strong hunger for success which translated to everyone around him learning and enjoying his company. You are in our thoughts and prayers!
