It is with profound sadness that we announce Ruth Irene Strong took her last breath from this world on September 18, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on July 21, 1929, Ruth Irene Robinson was a beloved wife, dedicated mother grandmother and great grandmother, and dear friend to many.

Ruth lived a life rich in love and kindness. She married Willis Lawrence Strong on August 2, 1953, and together they nurtured a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter and joy. Their partnership was a steadfast source of strength, wisdom, and comfort for their family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Strong; her son, Paul Strong, and his wife, Pam; granddaughters Meagan Strong and Alison Walker; and great-granddaughters Andersyn and Maisyn Rumney. She was preceded in eternal rest by her devoted husband, Willis, on November 13, 2012.

Throughout her life, Ruth was passionate about her family, faith, and friends. She worked tirelessly to support Willis through law school, a devoted homemaker and later held positions at various elementary schools. Her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will forever resonate with all who were fortunate to know her.

Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and share memories in honor of her gentle spirit.

VISITATION: Monday, September 30, 2024, from 10am to 11am at the West Center Chapel, followed by FUNERAL SERVICE at 11am.  PRIVATE INTERMENT: Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
