Ryleigh Kathryn King
June 4, 2006 ~ January 30, 2020
Ryleigh was born on June 4, 2006 in Shreveport, Louisiana to her loving parents Janet and Bernie King.
Our sweetest little lover, Ryleigh, ran into the arms of Jesus on January 30th, 2020 at 5:48 PM. She was embraced by her family, with the strongest love, as she took her final breaths. Ryls love for life and people was without limits. She lived beautifully with intense passion and anticipation of her next adventure. Ryleigh had so many special gifts, but our favorite was her gift of connecting with people and creating relationships. She touched people with her beautiful smile, precious voice and expressive soul through the ultimate language of love. Ryleigh loved. Deeply. She loved her family, her friends and people. She loved life. She loved hanging out with Mo, singing, dancing, giving kisses and hugs, Camp Munroe, music, swimming, riding the bus, reading books, meeting people, going to school, taking baths, playing with her friends, her paci and anything that was daring and fast. Ryleigh is wild and free, running the streets of gold. Stay wild, sweet lover.
Ryleigh is survived by her loving parents; greatest big sister Morgan, maternal grandparents John and Judy Shinn of Fort Worth, TX; paternal grandparents Bernard and Karen King of Raleigh, NC; aunts and uncles Brink and Kelly Shinn of Louisville, KY; Eric and Kelly Roberts, Pat and Megan King all of Dallas, TX; Leanne King, Kevin King all of Raleigh, NC; and Mark and Jackie LaRovere of Tomball, TX; cousins Marilyn, Cam, Henry, Lennon, Landry, Kennedy, Jacob, Isaac and Caleb and many loving extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, 6-8pm, at West Center Chapel (7805 West Center Rd. Omaha, NE 68124). Ryleigh’s Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 10:00 am, at Omaha Bible Church (7940 State St. Omaha, NE 68122). Interment: Omaha National Cemetery at 1pm (14250 Schram Rd. Omaha, NE 68138).

Beautiful obituary and a perfect description of Ryleigh. I love to think of her “running the streets of gold”. I like to think of her playing piano in Heaven, too. Ryleigh’s hands are perfect for it! She touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Love to you all and looking forward to celebrating her life this week with family. xoxo, Aunt Megan
I only knew for a little while but her sweet precious spirit will be etched in my memory forever. Her families intense love for this sweet girl was immeasurable. Run fast, sing loud, and jump high into the arms that love you more than anyone…..into the arms of Jesus. Love to all of you from Louisiana.
The blessings of Ryls to us cannot be measured. She taught us that we are created for love, joy peace , wonder,, harmony, acceptance. She lived these gifts and she called them forth from the rest of us. She is now free to continue to love us in ways we cannot imagine

We are so very sorry for this terrible parting with your precious daughter. But we know that she is in the care of our loving Father in Heaven and she is unencumbered by the frail covering we wear on this earth. Prayers are said for your sweet family and extended family.

What a beautiful love you were given in Ryleigh. What a gracious and loving Lord Jesus. What a great comfort to know the joy she is experiencing in His presence, singing His praises.
So grateful to have been blessed to know Ryls, she truly was a light. My heart hurts for your family, but I can’t help but rejoice in the knowledge that she is dancing in Jesus’arms. Prayers for comfort as you navigate this journey, and that her light will continue to shine through the memories you share.
Our love and prayers for you and your family. May God cover you with His peace.
Praying for you Janet and Bernie and Morgan! I wish I would have known Ryleigh – Kristi kept us praying for Ryleigh and you guys in the journey and she will continue to tell us stories of your Ryleigh and sweet family!
That was a very special and accurate perfect description of that sweet girl. The most touching memory I have of her was when she held my firstborn son Henry in her arms; she was incredibly tender loving and attentive and knew how soft and delicate she had to handle my baby son (her cousin.). She loved babies. I miss her terribly love uncle Pat.
Words can’t express my feelings but I just wanted you to know I prayed for Ryleigh’ and for you all earnestly. You all were so faithful in your Caring Bridge messages. You have been. Tremendous witness to us all. I am so sorry for your loss.
My heart goes out to you all, especially Janet, Bernie & Morgan. Ryleigh was such a precious soul and she was your little lover because she was loved so well. You prepared her for His Kingdom by showing her the face of God every single day. Praying for you all so hard in the coming days. Love you all.
Sending many prayers today and the days to come. I’m thankful that were given the days to spend with your beautiful family at 4Paws.
Janet,Bernie,Morgan, and family. My heart mourns for you at this time. Ryleigh was an inspiration to me she brightened my day. I did not see her as much as I wanted and was blessed to have met you all and that you allowed our team to care for her
I love you guys dearly and will always hold you and Ryliegh close to my heart eternally. God definitely has an angel with him now. Tears are shed here on Earth but happiness and joy surrounds her always. Please let me know if I can do anything. Give Charlie a hig for me as well.
Sweet Ryleigh! You fought the good fight giving your very blessed Mom, Dad and big Sis time to love on you, treasure you and breathe you in. Just the very way you lived your life selflessly, loving everyone you met. My only regret is that I didn’t share nearly enough time with you here on Earth. But hallelujah, PRAISE GOD, THANK YOU JESUS, SWEET HOLY SPIRIT we will spend eternity together!!! Get ready baby girl! Get that time in with Mema and getting to know Grandaddy because they’ll have to share you so many ways when the rest of this family gets there! Love always! Aunt Cindy

My deepest condolences to Ryleigh’s family,, who will continue to be in my prayers. .
I am so sorry for your pain! Ryleigh was such a delight, and your love and care of her was extraordinary. I hope you find peace in the memories of her sweet spirit and in the promise you will see her again.
Ryleigh instantly stole our hearts at camp. From her big smile, infectious laughter or her zest for every new activity. Her big bows made me smile and I think they embodied her personality perfectly… Big, bright and so happy. Our hearts ache and we will miss her so dearly at camp but can’t thank you enough for sharing Ryleigh’s beautiful life with us! Aaaaaahhhh good job, good, good, good!
Your family will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
I have only just learned of Ryleigh’s passing. I am so, so sorry for all of you. God Bless you all and may the comfort of your family help to get through these times. Mark Rusin
