Sam was many things to many different people throughout his life. He served his country, was loved by his big Italian family, friends and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. After retiring from the USPS, he worked at several part time jobs to fill his time: always in service to others. As his daughter-in-law, I knew he loved me and his son, my husband. He is sense of humor was hilarious and dry. I wish my children had gotten to know him better, but the memories they have and the stories Mike has shared has made him a real, beloved member of our family. I am glad he is resting in our Father’s arms in peace and love . Goodbye for now, Grandpa Sam! See you in Heaven! Lisa
Mike Laughlin,
I remember Sam as loving father and friend. He was my brother in law ( Mark & Michael’s mother is my sister Patrica Laughlin – deceased 2002). I remember Sam’s kindness. He let me borrow his 1957 white Ford Fairline 500 convertible for my (1961) senior prom. The car was a big deal and a hit at the dance. Sam was also the best man at my wedding in 1965. We lost track of each other over these many years ,but I still enjoy the photos of the good times.
Sandy, I hope you, family, and Sam’s many friends can find comfort in the memories of all the good times.
Miss you more than anyone could ever know. LUV Me ❤️
