Sandra A. Kroupa

Sandra A. Kroupa, age 85, of Omaha, Nebraska.

Preceded in death by her loving husband William J. Kroupa; mother, Irene Weak.

Sandra was born in Red Oak, Iowa, then moved to Omaha at a young age. She attended Omaha South High School where she was prom queen her senior year. In high school, she met her one love in life Bill Kroupa and they spent 52 years together. She and Bill moved to Arizona while Bill served in the military.

Moving back to Omaha, they had five children. She continued to work as an office manager for many years while raising her children. She and Bill loved to travel and experience new things. Sandra continued her passion for traveling with her sisters, Linda Doyle and Carol Friend. Sandra had fond memories celebrating holidays with Bill’s brother Don Kroupa and his wife, Arlette.

Sandra had 14 siblings and had so much love for each one. She continued to spread her love to her 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a hands-on grandma and great-grandmother who went on many walks and picked many flowers with them. She cherished these moments most in life.

She is survived by her children Kathy Kroupa, Carrie Larkin and husband Mark, Ed Kroupa, Anne McClellan, and husband Mike, Connie Curtis, and husband Chris. Also survived by her precious 7 grandchildren Travis (Amanda), Cassie, Lucas, Sarah, McKensie, Madison, and Chance, and her beloved great-grandchildren Ryleigh, William, Skylar, and Gannon.

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, July 29th, 11:00 am at St. Gerald’s Catholic Church, 9602 Q Street, Ralston, NE 68127.

Following mass, there will be a luncheon and celebration of life at St. Gerald’s Fellowship Hall.

    So sorry for your loss. I am glad to have many many memories of my childhood with such a wonderful woman. I’m sure her and Bill are in heaven together sharing a beer and a taco.! Peace, prayers, & sympathy.
