Elizabeth H. Betty Schack July 8, 1927 May 29, 2015 Served as a volunteer at University of Nebraska Medical Center and American Red Cross; member and President of Douglas County Medical Auxiliary and the Doctors Wives Club; longtime member and President of the Crook House Guild. Preceded in death by husband, Colin B. Schack, M.D.; parents, Carol and Joseph Howe; sisters: Bea Jepson, Colleen Longo, and Carol Marie Howe; brothers: Clarence LaBarge, Patrick Howe, M.D. and William Howe. Survived by children: Stanley Schack, M.D. (Shelly), Andrew Schack (Jolene), Loretta Schack, Phillip Schack, and Daniel Schack (Jennifer); grandchildren: Eric, Steven, Andrew, Sophia, Olivia, and Elise Schack; many nieces and nephews. VISITATION begins Friday, June 5th at 9am at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am at the church. Private Interment, Forest Lawn. Memorials are suggested to Christ the King Educational Trust.
