William L. Schwartz Aug 11, 1918 May 23, 2016 Age 97, of Omaha. William Schwartz, loving husband, father and grandfather, was born on August 11, 1918 in Winnetoon, Nebraska and died peacefully on May 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by wife, Eleanor. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Debra Schwartz of Omaha; daughters and sons-in-law: Gerri and Greg States of Adel, IA, Jean and Michael Tegland of Omaha, and Janet and Tom Novak of Springfield, NE; granddaughters, Andrea Clauson and Freya Tegland. He spent over 33 years working as a Barber Instructor at Boys Town, retiring at age 62 and then enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with their RV. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 26th, from 9:30am to 10:30am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, with MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am at the church. Entombment, Calvary Mausoleum with military rites by Benson VFW Post 2503. Memorials are suggested to St Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
