Scott was such a kind man. I knew him from shopping at Target. He would always take time to stop and visit with my dad who was in his late 90’s.

So sorry for your loss. I have not seen Scott for many years but clearly remember as others have said. Quick with laugh and smile and a truly kind human being. Rest In Peace Scott.
I haven’t seen Scott in a long, long time, but for years we worked together everyday. We were part of a group who worked together at Target, in Des Moines then in Omaha. Always kind, always happy, willing to lend a hand or help with a prank, Scott was a great fellow. I know everyone who worked on those teams would say the same. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I’m holding your family in my heart.
Sorry to hear the passing of Scott.
I knew him from Target, as he worked for me for some time in Dsm.
He was always willing to help in any way he could and always had a positive attitude.
He will be remembered by everyone that knew him
Scott was always a shining presence in the dining halls at Creighton. I will miss his smile and bright personality there. I wish for a peaceful repose of his soul. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
So sorry for your loss. It is actually a loss to everyone who knew him. I had the pleasure of working with Scott at Super Target. Remember it’s of great times. I am sure you have lots of great memories too. He will be missed! Prayers for you and your familiy.
So sorry for your loss of Scott. I knew and worked with Scott at Target in Des Moines and in Omaha. As others have said here, he was so kind to others around him. Everyone will miss that easy going laugh. Rest easy Scott.
I was very surprised and saddened when I heard about the loss of Scott yesterday. Although I did not get to know Scott well when I worked with him at Creighton for 2 years, he was always very professional and friendly. Scott’s commitment to his work and the lengths that he went to take care of his employees (especially during their time of loss) was a testament not just to how great of a leader he was but how good of a person he was. My condolences to his family and friends.
My sincerest condolences. I worked with Scott at Target for almost 15 years. He was a kind and genuine man who absolutely loved his family! We often talked about how great our kids are. I am praying for you and your family. God Bless.
We only got to know Scott in the past year, when his niece, Alyssa, married our son, Alex, this past April. As mentioned in previous comments, we noticed & were impressed by his easy smile and fun-loving attitude. His love for Cherie & Samantha was very evident! Our condolences to the family-Gone much too soon! Jim Miller-Ames, IA
I am so very sorry for your loss. Scott was a classmate and I will always remember his smile and friendship while in school. From seeing his facebook posts it is apparent that he was a loving husband and father who was very proud of his family. My prayers are with all of his family for comfort and peace during this difficult time. Wendy Hansen W-SR Class of 81
Scott was a dear friend, and will be deeply missed by those who knew him. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He could bring a smile to your face and was such a character. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
the Nebraska Children’s Home would like to express its sympathy in Scott’s passing and its thankfulness in the fact Scott and his family feels NCH merits being honored with his memorials. Again our sympathy to Cherie and his entire family. May God be with you at this difficult time.
I had the pleasure of working with Scott at Target and can honestly say there was no one person who enjoyed life more, had such a deep love for his family and friends and was such a pleasure to be around than Scott. No matter the situation or circumstances, Scott always had a smile on his face, would take time to talk and listen, and remained upbeat and positive in how he approached life. Genuine, sincere and a kind man, he touched many. May support from family and friends ease the pain and may your memories bring that same smile and provide comfort during this difficult time. My sincere condolences on your loss as all are in my thoughts and prayers.
