Scott Michael Schumacher was born on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 3:29 p.m. to parents Ryan Meyer and Alyssa Schumacher in Omaha, Nebraska. At the time of his birth, he was 26.4 weeks and weighed only 1 lb. He died peacefully in his parents’ arms on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 4:11 p.m.
Scott, known affectionately as Scotty by all who knew him, was a fighter and did not want to give up. In Scotty’s short time, his family and caregivers were blessed to be part of his life and thankful for the memories that were made.
Scotty was deeply loved by his mommy and daddy; his big brother, his grandparents; his great-grandmother; aunts; uncles; and many others. He experienced this love by holding hands with mommy and daddy, listening to the songs that were sung to him, and all the “I love yous” that were told to him.

A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. The service will be held at the Urban Abbey, 1026 Jackson St., Omaha, NE, 68102. Please join us to help us remember our angel baby, Scott.
Food and snacks will be provided.
