GIBILISCO, Sebastian Ross “Marco,” Feb 24, 1921 – Jul 11, 2010. Age 89 years, Omaha. Born Feb 24, 1921 to Rosario and Concetta Gibilisco; passed away on Jul 11, 2010. He was the beloved husband of his true love, his wife of over 65 years, the late Lucille Arceri Gibilisco who preceded him in death in late October of 2008. His true passions in life were his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marco and Lucille were devoted parents to their four children: Ross Gibilisco and wife Sandy, Connie Burke and husband Tim, Dotti Miller and husband Don, and Gary Gibilisco and wife Gayle. He is survived by 13 grandchildren: Lisa Freidenlund (late husband Greg), Tim (Ruth) Burke, Don (Shelia) Miller, Kevin (Jackie) Burke, Gina (Jeff) Birschstein, Michele (George) Lancos, Sean (Melanie Kantanya) Burke, Danielle (Aaron) Perrault, Kerri Beth (Oso) de la Vega, Michael (Michelle) Gibilisco, Ryan (Heather) Burke, Greg Gibilisco, Mark Gibilisco; 22 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Nellie Pirrucello; sister-in-law, Millie Arceri; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Siena. Marco was in the beauty business and the owner of Marcos Beauty Salon in the West Lanes for over 30 years, and built and owned apartments. After retiring from the beauty business, he had a second career as a builder of fine homes. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and by all who knew this kind and gentle man who enriched many lives. VISITATION begins Sunday, 5pm, with ROSARY AND WAKE SERVICE at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Monday, 9:30am, West Center Chapel to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for MASS at 10am. Entombment,, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Association or St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
