Yano was the only one of the several people on the floating dock at a state lake in Fremont, Nebraska that extended his hand to help me while I was rescuing Greg Ward from drowning the summer of 1959. Truly, without his hand pulling Greg and I to the dock we would have parished. Merci, Je me souviens! R.I.P.
In the brief time I spent with Yano, as a caregiver he was outgoing and optimistic. He inforced his family values in many ways. Continued blessings, to
the family.
Those years of soccer with the boys have left such positive memories. Yano was always there for support and a grin that I still see in mind’s eye. Memories to cherish. My prayers for Joe, Anna and Chris.
I met Yano 27 years ago. Yano was a man with a huge heart & had the biggest smile in the world. From the first day I met Yano he treated me like family. I was a stranger in a new city but he took me under his wing and me feel welcome. I’ve been blessed to have met him and be able to call him my friend. He was a great man who loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.R I P my friend
R.I.P. Friend from Grade School to Ryan High School. We lived it all.
We send our condolences to family and friends of Yano. He was in our second graduating class of Archbishop Ryan High School 50 years ago. May he rest in peace.
I had the good fortune of meeting Yano at Alegent Wellness Ctr and had numerous mconversations about sports mainly NU football. I will carry his memory as one of the finest individuals I have ever known. I have
been praying for Yano since his last health issue and will continue to do so and for his family.God Bless your
family.
I met Yano at Marshall Nurseries. He was a salesman (not person) and sold nursery stock as well as blueprint ideas to potential customers. Great guy to work with and fun. Just found about his passing. Referring his business to a new homeowner. RIP.
