Sharon was born on September 7, 1940, in Crete, Nebraska. She passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the age of 83 years old. Her son and daughter were by her side.
Sharon loved her family more than anything, and she was proud of her family. Sharon brought happiness to everyone she met and those who were blessed to know her. She was a special person.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Reid, whom she has now joined in everlasting peace. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Dorothy Bozak; brother, Don Dorsey; and stepbrother, Tom Bozak. She is survived by her children, John Reid (Dawnn) and Geri Lynn Topolski; son-in-law, Paul Topolski; sister, Janet Soukup (Frank) of Chino Valley, Arizona; grandchildren: Kelly Scholl (Guy), Cory Brown (Samantha), and J.C. Reid (Angie), all of Omaha; step granddaughter, Sara Rogers (Rhett) of Benkelman, NE; five great-grandchildren: Remy, Woods, Nolan, Fields, and Calvin and two step great-grandchildren, Brodie and Zoey.

To the family of Sharon Reid. I enjoyed visiting with Sharon over tea to discuss life events. She was uplifting and caring to me. I will deeply miss her!

Sharon was a very strong, faithful and caring person. We will miss her very much, but we know that she and Jerry are worshiping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in their glorified bodies. We plan to join them soon!
