Sherrill was such a sweet, kind hearted, quiet person. It is sad that her family has to be without her now. So sad that such a beautiful person was taken before her time. Bless all of her family.. Sherrill and I graduated from Terril in 1968..

I know very well that it’s never easy when a loved one passes on, but we can keep them alive with our memories and sharing stories of them with others. I had the pleasure of meeting Sherrill a couple of years ago at an art event and we talked for awhile and from that one conversation and knowing a few of her family members,I could see what an amazing person she was. I know there are no words I can say to take away the hurt in your hearts, but know that I’ll remember her and that my thoughts and prayers are with you and I love you all.

We lived across the street from Sherrill for several years and loved her and her children. I am so sorry we found out too late to attend the celebration of her life. We kept in touch by letter and by phone and got to see her occasionally. Heaven is one saint more blessed, and we are one beautiful life lacking. But we hold such beautiful memories of Sherrill.

Kids, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a beautiful human being who was filled with love. I think back fondly to our days as neighbors on California street. I am sorry I didn’t know about this in time to attend the service. Carry on your mother’s legacy of love. With love and prayers, Beth
