Soley (Quinlin) Lathrop
May 9, 1969 – October 27, 2022
Soley Quinlin Lathrop, 53 years of age, was born on May 9, 1969, in Omaha, and passed to the hands of her heavenly father on October 27, 2022, after a short but fierce battle with cancer. Soley was preceded in death by her father, Richard William Quinlin and her mother, Agnes Hilda Quinlin. Soley is survived by her loving family: husband, Christopher; daughter, McKinsey; sons, Adam and Quinlin; siblings: John (Julia) Quinlin, Disa (Doug) Leonard, Robyn (Keith) Kalbach, and Ryan (Kellie) Quinlin; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Soley leaves behind countless friends and her work family from the Nebraska and Western Iowa V. A. Hospital, where she worked for the last 15 years. She will be missed by everyone who met her.
VISITATION: Wednesday November 2, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm, followed by Prayer Service at 7pm, at St Martha’s Episcopal Church, 780 Pinnacle Dr, Papillion, NE 68046. CELEBRATION OF LIFE AND SERVICE: Thursday November 3rd at 11am at St Martha’s Episcopal Church, with a luncheon immediately following.
PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, Nov. 4th at Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to: The University of Nebraska Hope Fund for Lymphoma and Leukemia Research, https://nufoundation.org/fund/01100020/; or to St. Martha’s Episcopal Church in Papillion, Nebraska.

Loved all our conversations about our boy/girl twins over the years! You were a ray of sunshine and I hardly ever saw you down. You will be missed by me and so many, but I will see you again one day. You lived a life that blessed so many souls!
I am sorry for your lost. I pray that you and your family remember the moments of laughter and the love you all shared to help you through the challenging times ahead. I hope your faith bring you the strength and peace to help you move forward.
