I had a Sister Mary Alice in first grade at St Agnes School back around 1956-57. I’m not sure if she is the same sister but I never forgot her. She was wonderful. God’s blessings and peace.
Sr Mary Alice was a philosophy colleague at Creighton. I watched her change innumerable lives for the better; until I realized she had done the same for me. She was a lovely person and a genuine Christian. No appeals to rules or commandments. When you met her you wanted to be a Christian too—by irresistible attraction. And by the joy she brought to every human relationship. This world is less without here but the next is now far better. RIP
Sister Mary Alice was one of the brightest, gentlest, and generous people it has ever been my privilege to know. She was also the holiest individual I have ever encountered, yet totally approachable by everyone.
