My prayers to the family. I’ve known Steve for quite a few years now and he’s helped me out greatly. He was a good friend and i owe him my life. Anything i can do to help just let me know.

Steve it was too soon. Well maybe for me it is. We met a few years ago and you moved into my house in the country. Before work you would come into my room and we would talk about growing up in the 60s, our families, school, work, love and how we felt like we didnt fit in todays world. We laughed, fought and talked like brothers. You tended to my wounds when i got hurt and never complained. One of the last things i asked you was not to leave me here, but life had lost its zest so here i am praying for you and your family. You truly were a friend of mine and i will honor your 1 request to me.

Stockyard Steve was one of my closest friends. He went out of his way to make sure everyone around him was happy. He was so generous and kind and I’m glad I got to see him and say goodbye before he passed. My condolences to those who really loved him, he will be greatly missed. Which one are you?

My prayers to Steve’s family . I went to school with Steve from the 4th grade right through high school a ton of great memories with a true genuine friend. I wish we had kept in stronger contact during the past 50 years. May you rest in peace buddy.
