Stephen James Price

October 26, 1959 – January 13, 2019

Steve Price, of Omaha, NE, was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.  He passed away peacefully on Jan. 13th with his family present after bravely confronting and fighting cancer.  Steve was born on October 26, 1959 in Clinton, Oklahoma; graduated from High School in Sapulpa, OK; and obtained his BS in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University.  He had a love for agriculture and invested most of his career in livestock and food production activities.  Steve had a true entrepreneurial spirit, seeing improvements and possibilities within organizations he was associated with.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert James “R.J.” Price. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Price; children: sons, Cody Price (Tara) and Cooper Price (Alyssa); stepchildren, Allison Brown (Kenny) and Shawn Flynn (Ashley); brothers, Scott Price (Sonya) and Allen Price (Angela); mother, Carolyn Price; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sam and Jenny Pfeifer.  He was also blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family and dear friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, Jan. 26th at 11am at First Central Congregational Church of Christ, 421 S. 36th St., Omaha, NE followed by lunch and fellowship.  Memorials may be directed to the family for charities of their choice.

    I have missed my sweet friend since he and Sharon moved from their TN home. My heart breaks knowing I will not get to see him for a while, but when we do meet again we will laugh and joke together like it has only been a little while. That’s what friends do, pick up right where they left off. Sharon I pray for your strength and comfort . I am so sorry….
